how do I record all episodes of a show on any channel?

Say I want every episode of Friends on any channel. I tried using a wishlist but this brought up all kinds of junk with the word Friends in the title. Can I make Tivo tape only episodes of Friends?

Every episode of the show was called "the one where blank blank" (e.g., The one with the monkey). It worked to get only Friends episodes.

If you didn't do that the wishlist would matched every show that had the word Friends in either the show title, or the episode title. Lots of shows you didn't want.

Normally show titles are distinctive enough that you don't need to do that, but Friends is just too generic a word.

On how many channels can "Friends" be found? 2? 3?

Set up a SP on each channel. If the eps on two or three channels don't satiate your need, then I would recommend seeking professional help.
