I'm new to Tivo - so maybe this is a common problem that is easy to fix.
I've only had my Tivo for 3 days - and this problem just started yesterday. The audio is making a popping sound (it sounds exactly like popping bubble wrap). It stops when I mute the sound on the TV; it only happens during Live TV (not on playback of anything I've recorded - even things I've been watching and recording at the same time) and the popping is not constant - it won't do it for an hour, but then will start doing it and continue for 30 minutes straight.
I can hear the program's audio under the popping noise - but the pops are very annoying and hopefully - fixable.
I've restarted the Tivo, gotten the latest software updates, checked cables to make sure nothing is pinched - nothing fixed it.
Please help!!
