Remote Control control of my Quasar TV

OK, before you kill me for having a quasar TV, let me explain. I just got my third D* Tivo unit. I have the HD250 and the Sony T160. I just got the R10 to replace a very old series one TIVO standalone. It is located in the same room as the others, as I like to enjoy the NFL on Sundays. My problem is I can not control my 27 inch Quasar TV with the remote, all the codes failed. Any ideas?

Also I had a problem activating the DVR service, spent about an hour on -line with support. I did a reset and that worked. Very Strange

Did you do the long and tedious remote "code search", where it lets you step through every single code possible?

Is this a TV? Or a Tv/Vcr combo?

This is a TV and I did not go through the whole process yet, hoping to aviod it.
