I was going to call this thread "Really Helpful tv shows" but the house call concept seemed to communicate better.

Since this bb only permits 6 items in a poll, I grouped similar shows together.

I watch all of these shows. The Tivo pointed out some of them to me.

Kitchen Accomplished is one Tivo recommendation that has become a regular favorite of mine.

It's not a show that makes house calls, but my family has been enjoying the new HDTV show " I Want That!" even though most of the items they show (although rather kewl) are not all that wanted.

Another show we like these days is Best Built Home, which shows us how builders in another part of the country will be far superior than anyone we could hire locally. :)

Really, it is nice to see builders pay attention to details and build homes that serve their owners well.
