Common Network Troubleshooting Tips
Here are some useful techniques to troubleshoot and restore your connection to the TiVo service:
1) To manually initiate a connection to the TiVo service, go to TiVo Central and select Messages & Settings > Settings > Network & Phone > Connect to the TiVo service now. After any successful connection (whether manual or automatic), the TiVo box will automatically attempt another connection within the next 48 hours.
2) If the connection was unsuccessful, check the physical connections of the entire network. Ensure that all network equipment is receiving power and is not in an error state. Check that all cable connections for routers, hubs, access points, and computers in the network are working. Verify that the link light is lit on all devices connected to the network.
