Most people don’t know this, but when you start watching a new TV show, you enter into an implicit agreement. For the show’s part, it is agreeing to provide entertainment. This includes interesting characters and a compelling story. For your part, you are agreeing to accept the world created in the series. So in a series, if 2+2=5, then so be it. I accept that.
