(TRA) wanted to see if commercials promoting new TV shows actually result in people watching the show. The findings are surprising: A large-reach promotional campaign before a show’s premiere does not guarantee success with viewers. How do we know? First, TRA ranked the 2012 Fall TV shows based on the audience reach of their promotional campaigns six weeks before they started. TiVo is officially donating $25,000 to the Tim Tebow Foundation after surpassing 25,000 new Likes on the TiVo Facebook page since launching a Like-to-Donate campaign on November 14, in honor of new spokesperson, Tim Tebow. It’s Tuesday morning. I stand on the platform next to a herd of commuters as the 6:45 Metro North train rolls in. Like most commuters, I have a routine. I take the 6:45 am train into New York and the 6:11 pm home to Connecticut.
