Good episode this week, I liked all of the authority stuff.
Looks like Tara is at least partially there, and does not yet appear to be retarded in any way.
Based on the interactions in the Authority boardroom I guess we are to assume that Russel is being nursed to health by the group that wants to stop the mainstreaming initiative and treat the humans like meat.

Where is the list of TiVo Suggestions in the HD Menus?
In the SD Menu it is front and center under the Find My Shows banner, but in HD Menus I can't find any way to get to it.
Say what you will about the merits of this show; the acting was SUPERB. The scene where Terry confesses to killing Rosie was one of the best I've ever seen.
I have a Tivo HD where all of a sudden lately it cannot connect to the service. I am using a Tivo G adapter with Verizon FiOS. I have tried everything - opening ports, rebooting, rebooting the TiVo, etc etc. Every computer on my network is acting perfectly fine. I have no Tivo service data what do i do?

I searched and haven't found this issue on here, so I was wondering if anyone else ran into this:
I have a series 4 XL Tivo and lately when watching Netflix through the Tivo, the screen flicks to black frequently during play. The audio keeps working, and the screen only stays black for a second, but it happens SEVERAL times, no matter what I'm watching. I have watched shows via Netflix on my laptop and iPad and the issue does not happen there, but it happens every time with the Tivo. Anyone have any insight? Thanks!
I have s3 TiVo. When I add a season pass it takes at least 3 minutes before I can do anything. Would this be faster if I deleted some? If so is there a a way online I can delete them faster? Most of my season passes are for "first run" and will never run again I'm expecting delivery of xl4 in a few days to replace my S3. Do I go online to migrate SP's between boxes? Is it also a good idea to remove old SP's before I do this? Is their any pre- maintenance I should do? Do I get my thumb ratings moved over? Anything else I should know about switching?

I have just recently moved to a Tivo Premiere device partially because I wanted to be able to use the iPad app. So far the app has worked fine, except the guide page is totally blank and says "no channels found". However on the Tv, i can see the guide info just fine. I have closed down the app and restarted. Restarted the Tivo. Tried searching the forums. I have now run out of ideas.

I've been using the Netflix app since it was introduced but haven't tried Hulu until now. I just signed up for the 7-day free trail.
I'm having a little trouble learning how to best manage the shows/series that I'm watching. I've put some shows (individual episodes, apparently) into the Queue, and I've marked some shows as favorites (which show up as subscriptions). Is there any kind of bookmark to indicate what episode you're up to? I haven't been able to find anything.

for 24 hours and it must have cleared
It returned to normal operation.

Anybody have any comments?
Would a new hard drive solve my issue?
Maybe this is something i have not figured out yet or the way it is. When i finish watching a program, and say FF to the complete end, i am not prompted to delete or keep the episode right away. instead it basically pauses it self and i have to 30 sec skip or FF again to get the delete prompt
I have 2 networked Tivos - a new Premiere XL and a Series 2. When I transfer any show from the Series 2, I select to transfer it "from beginning". And yet - the show appears on my Premiere XL with only the part that I haven't watched yet. Only half of the show is there on the green play-bar at the bottom of the screen. Clearly this is not working properly, correct? Has anyone else seen this behavior?
Have Tivo Premiere using Streambaby. My connection is HDMI and I am using 3 speakers (left, center, right) in my family room.
We are only using a Sony DA3500ES and don't like the sound. The audio is not clear when watching movie with streambaby. There are no bars when lowering, increasing volume which is quite annoying. So the volume is either too low or too high.
Should I purchase another receiver to improve sound quality? If so, any suggestions on brand/model?
Or is there something else I should do? Please let me know. Thanks.
My husband and I have had a child with extra needs and we've lost all time for TV :( We're looking to sell all of our Tivos. We have 2 Premieres both with annual subscriptions. One expires 7/1 the other expires 8/27. You can take over that service and continue to use annual instead of monthly subscriptions. We have 1 Series 3 HD and one Series 2. We also have 2 of the Wireless G adapters. I believe at least one of the Premieres is an XL, but if you could let me know how to confirm that, I'll figure out what kind they are.
My TiVo HD is not receiving recording requests from my iPhone. The last two days it has not recording both shows I've requested in the app. I've looked in the todo history and they requested shows arent there and I never received an email stating it was scheduled or that their was a conflict. Ive attempted to test it today while home (with the wif off to mimick the other times ive attempted to set recordings with the app) numerous times and the TiVo received none of the requests and I never got an email. My email in tivo.com is correct.
I can however schedule recordings just fine using tivo.com.
Is this a known issue?
Any ideas on how I can fix it?
I currently have DirectTV with a standard def receiver.
I would like to record various channels and I assume a TiVo system would work.
Some questions and observations:
1. I see used TiVo systems for sale on ebay an various other sites.
2. Does the TiVo system replace my standard def receiver, or does it supplement my standard def receiver?
3. If it supplements my standard def receiver, what is the high level connection diagram? Cable wire -> TiVo -> DirectTV receiver -> TV -- or -- Cable wire -> DirectTV receiver -> TiVo -> TV?
4. If I was to personally purchase a TiVo system, would I have to pay some entity (such as DirectTV) for TiVo "service"?
Sorry for such basic questions, but I'm (obviously) very confused and looking for direction to proceed.
I just downloaded the Plus version today and I'm curious -- is it normal for it to take hours to convert a show to a new format?
I have two HD TiVo's, both hard wired into my network. My router is an Apple Time Capsule. The TiVo's can see each other, and I can browse the programs, but when I try to transfer a show from one to another, it just tells me it will transfer when other shows are finished, but there are no other transfers to finish. Any suggestions?
