Diego Trujillo stars as Walter Whites Colombian counterpart in Metástasis, an upcoming Spanish-language remake of Breaking Bad. The characters name? Walter Blanco, naturally.
Instead of Jesse Pinkman, this Walters meth-cooking accomplice is named Jose Miguel Rosas (played by Robert Urbina). His wifes name is Cielo (Sandra Reyes) the Spanish word for sky. The cast is rounded out by Julian Arango as Henry Navarro, Walters narcotics agent brother-in-law.
I sold two Premieres on eBay and the service was transferred about a week ago. These units still show up in My Account on tivo.com. Will they eventually go away?
Want to buy a 4-tuner TiVo, and/or a Slide remote.
I see XL4s on ebay going for as low as $150.
PM me with price and model.
My cable provider (Grande) is offering packages with Tivos. I have a lower end package and was thinking about upgrading.
If they give me a premiere and I already have a premiere, HD and a stream, will they all play well together? I am assuming that I can assign my MAK to the new one and everything should be fine.
Anyone have experience with this?
So I called Tivo this afternoon to inquire about the Premier vs Roamio, the operator actually told me to google search it on my own. I was shocked that an agent of the company would actually tell a potential customer to do their own research instead of taking the opportunity to sell the product. I got the impression that this customer svc agent was maybe a 3rd party hire. Does Tivo outsource their customer svc agents? She told me that before she bought her Roamio she google'd to find out the difference between the premier and roamio and that is how she made her decision to buy the roamio.
For Xfinity OnDemand on my Roamio......what is the yellow triangle next to the show name suppose to represent?
I would guess it would be that the show is expiring soon....but as you can see from the photo, the triangle is on one of the newest shows, the one from last night.
I hope Tivo adds in the expire date to the Xfinity app, like you can see on the Comcast boxes. It stinks on Tivo to not know how long the show will be there.
Just thought I'd start an entire season thread for The League as it seems this is a better option for this show than episode threads.
As for the Rafi episode (I think it was #4?), I'm with the others (in the other thread) that feel Rafi is best in small doses - didn't really care for this entirely-Rafi-centered episode. Too much Rafi is like getting busted smoking as a kid and having to smoke a whole pack - just sickening after a while.
Get back to the core gang, please?
My basic TiVo Roamio is setup with a Season Pass to record all new episodes of the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, but failed to record the October 1, 2013 episode which aired at 12:30 this morning on Charter Digital Cable Channel 702 CBSHD.
The entry for that episode in "TiVo Central" -> "Manage Recordings and Downloads" -> "History", (Nice feature. Thank you TiVo!) is notated as "Not Available". Pressing the Info button on the remote displays "No Longer In Guide". This show was not recorded because it was no longer in the guide."
The show was in fact broadcast, on the same channel, as I watched the first few minutes of it from be on another television set that isn't connected to TiVo. And, the show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which is broadcast at the same time on channel 704 NBCHD, was recorded without any apparent problems.
I remember the show being listed in the guide last night at around 11:00 PM PST, when I verified that this particular show, and one other show, were scheduled for recording before going to bed for the night. And, the show is still displayed today in the Guide for yesterday (Nice feature, thanks TiVo!)
TiVo support couldn't tell me what the problem was, but suggested that it might be a glitch in the TiVo guide. The rep also suggested that I setup TiVo to manually record that program. I'll do that, and also create a wishlist entry for that episode hoping that it will be rebroadcast in the near future.
Did anyone else experience the same, or similar problem with any TiVo device this morning?
I'm wondering if I update my tivo premier to a roamio and have only one tivo with cablecards (i.e. just have one box with cable company) that my premier can tap the extra roamio recorders like a mini does.
One of my boxes is reporting a C133 service issue and fails Internet connection tests at negotiating. (N17), but passes port tests and Netflix works. Another box passed the Internet connection test, but failed a service connection over night and again 2 times this morning (config failed first time, negotiating 2nd time).
It looks like a TiVo service problem. Anyone else having issues?
Could this get interesting? I have yet to like any cablebox other than my tivo, and the premier has left a bad taste in my mouth (for reasons everyone I think shares). I have not personally used the roameo but if folks could pick up an apple tv with cablebox capability and icloud recording for $99 with no monthly subscription.... (all conjecture on my part btw).
Mulé revealed his new position in a post to his LinkedIn page on Tuesday (via Multichannel), noting that he started working at Apple in September. Under the Experience column, Mulé said he would be "Challenged, inspired and part of something big" in his role as Engineering Director.
The hire was confirmed by Mulé's most recent employer CableLabs, which is now looking to fill the outgoing executive's former position of Senior VP of Technology Development.
Mulé has a pedigree in cable technology, and most recently worked for two years as CableLabs' SVP of Technology Development. During that time, he founded the firm's San Francisco office, which is currently building out a new research and development center in Sunnyvale, Calif. Prior to that, Mulé served as CableLabs' director of PacketCable Architecture and chief architect.
I need to get a unit for recording OTA, and am trying to decide between the 652160 and the Premiere. I've read in this Forum that there might be issues with the OTA tuner in the Premiere and that has me concerned. I live about 28 miles from the local towers, not sure if there is multipath issues since I haven't cut the cable cord yet.
But I would like to have at least 320GB and a hard drive that's not more than a year old if I can help it. I've been checking eBay, and wondering if I should go for a Series 3 with an upgraded (and larger) hard drive, or get a more recent Premier. I only have one television...an SD but will likely be getting an HDTV within 6 months or so.
Any suggestions? Sometimes the costs are not too different depending on storage capacity. Thanks.
Well, holy crap. Didn't expect to see three significant deaths (plus Ratboy) at this early stage of the season! I'm with Toric..."Didn't see that coming."
So Tig's off the hook, maybe. But the Sons are at war on two fronts (three if you count the Feds, although the Aryans look like they're now half a front at best). Will Toric's misdeeds come to light fast enough to save the Sons (and of course Nero) some major headaches?
It's interesting that things that seemed so complicated last week have become relatively simple. Tara and Wendy in cahoots explains a lot. Tig's seemingly inevitable death was just a test and the prelude to a deal with Pope Industries.
I'm gonna miss Phil...
The team is coming together with skills meshing reasonably well.
Another nod to the earlier movies in the Marvel 'verse.
A bit of a reveal.
A nice cameo/guest appearance.
Roamio Plus, Comcast, no Tuning Adapter.
Did anyone else miss New Girl on Fox tonight? My Tivo says it didn't record because it was "No Longer in Guide".
But, it's clearly listed in the Guide data.
My Season passes for the show before it and after it on the same channel recorded fine. The one before it is padded by 2 minutes, so I saw the beginning of New Girl at the end of that recording.
Any ideas, or anyone seeing this happen?
FYI....the Season Pass for New Girl shows it's scheduled to record next week. And this same season pass recorded the show last week. Thankfully I have Xfinity On Demand and will be able to watch it on that when it shows up.
My problems are getting worse. In addition to missing recordings because "channel signal not available" (1-3 a day), all of my recordings are now not following the clock. Recording should start at 7:30, instead starts at 7:32. Then ends at 7:58. etc etc
Marvel Agents started at 7:08, then stopped at 8:02, s/b 7:00 to 8:00. And on and on. Every recording. The TiVo clock is correct, the To-Do list reads correctly, but the recordings seem to start/stop when they want.
Any clues? I'm going to reboot shortly, but hate to miss more recordings than I already am.
And the missing signals: Tonight it recorded a show, then when I went to Live TV after the recording ended, "no signal". This was right after it recorded on that channel.
This new Pro worked like a charm for the first three weeks of its life. All of this started within the last 4-6 days.
I keep my TDL set to show will record and conflicts so that I can easily see what conflicts, if any, are coming up. That works great except now I'm getting conflicts listed when there really isn't a conflict.
SPs for MJF Show and Sean Saves the World both set for new episodes only on 2 tuner Premiere. The programs are scheduled to record on Thursday, but they are also being re-aired the next day in the 7-8pm slot. At that time I'm already recording MasterChef and Undercover Boss. My Premiere shows that MJF and Sean won't record because of a conflict even though those eps are already scheduled to record on Thursday.
To see what would happen, I canceled the Undercover Boss recording. The conflict went away and the shows were not scheduled to record. When I set Undercover Boss to record, the false conflict was there again.
These false conflicts waste my time by making me check to make sure that I'm not really missing new episodes.
New to the game here and almost asked this in the "What is my S2 worth?" thread, but decided against derailing that thread and starting a new one.
Referring to the US, non-Direct TV models, do all the prior series still work if you're willing to pay for it? Could you activate and use a Series 1 still and have it work within its limited space and feature set or has the cable industry tech changed in a way that the signal won't be interpreted correctly or whatever? Or, likewise, has TiVo dropped support for any old models? I'm thinking about picking up a backup with lifetime for a bedroom, but we'd basically never use it so I'd want it to be dirt cheap and not drive up my monthly bill.
