I was following these instructions
to transfer some tivo recordings to my Mac. I can't seem to find the Now Playing List to select my MacBook Pro.
I'm kinda watching the the "Countdown to Juan Pablo" right now. Couldn't watch as I was in Vegas for CES.

I've upgraded to a Roamio so I'm selling my current TiVoHD on ebay
. It's been a part of our family since Comcast forced us to switch to digital cable many years ago. I'm sure it will give someone else as many hours of couch time and pleasure as it gave me.
Current setup is Roamio Plus and Roamio Basic....both hard wired via ethernet.
So tonight I went to see if I could schedule a Season Pass for that new Greg Kinnear show called Rake on FOX. On my Roamio Plus I went in the guide to 1/23 and saw the show listed. I clicked on it and chose Season Pass or other options.
Now here's the weird part......on the screen that came up it wouldn't set a season pass.....instead it wanted to setup a wishlist recording saying the show is not available. What's even weirder is.....the screen to setup the wishlist was showing my Roamio Basic at the top. And when I setup the wishlist....it set it up on the Basic....not the Plus which I was using.
Anyone seen issues like this with new shows that are out near the end of the guide data.
Not sure why it won't let me schedule season pass if it sees the show in the guide.
Has anyone gotten access to the new Pandora app? I've tried forcing a connection and restarting the Roamio, but I still have the same old interface. The App Update announcement made it seem like we'd be getting the new HTML5 interface. All I see is the standard TiVo pandora interface.
Stars Geoff Shultz. Just got through watching it and LMAO. I generally don't like that many sitcoms, but this one's a hoot! Definitely worth a season pass.
Now that I seemed to have my transfers figured out..The ones I did transfer wont seem to Group together. I tried hitting the red c button to group..ect But nothing seems to work.
Is there a way to custom create one..or a way to get all my kids shows grouped back together again.
Is there a link that describes what buttons control the functions for the Netflix app? For example, I want to stop playing the current content and go back to the previous Netflix screen, to select another episode? I am pressing the "clear" button on the TiVo remote and it brings me back to the main Tivo menu.
How is it? The router is across the hall for me and would be hard to hard wire. I would need to drop down a heat duct then go back up another... So has anyone had good luck with wifi streaming?
My tv is smart with wifi and the Netflix app works great...
Help! I volunteered to convert the in-laws VHS tapes to DVDs. I'm using my old Humax Tivo Series 2 to record the tapes and burn the DVDs. Using the remote control to laboriously tap out titles is getting old. Does anyone know if the Tivo Slide remotes work with an old Series 2? If not, is there ANY other way to get some keyboard functionality on a Series 2 to make typing titles easier?
Playing around with my new Roamio and there's one feature that I loved from my TiVoHD that I can't seem to get working on the Roamio..
If I turn on the TV and it's in the middle of whatever program is on, when I had the S3 I could basically fast forward to the end of the program, hit fast forward again and it would loop around to the beginning of the program.
I can't seem to make this work on the Roamio. Is it something I have to program or was this feature removed? Is there another way to quickly go to the beginning of the program you're watching, or do I have to go through the TiVo menu, My Shows, etc...
I saw a message on my TiVo Central telling me that there were updates to YouTube and Opera TV apps. It mentioned DIAL support etc. Are these new versions or did I just miss noticing it before? They look different to me but I haven't been using them too much lately.

I have a Series 3 and a Premiere set up in our bedroom. I was able to program each to work independently on an older glo remote with a 1/2 switch. I might be putting two other Series 3 in one room in a basement area. Want to then do the same thing for them as well.
Is it possible to have 2 additional TiVos work with another remote that has the 1/2 switch? Or can you only do this one time in a network since I see that it changes it in the system information area. Basically, can you program 4 Tivos to operate on 2 Tivo remotes (w/ 1/2 switches)?
I have three series 2s that I never had a problem with. At that time I was always telling people how good they where. I got a series 3 and had alot of problems with it getting stuck on start up. Thinking that it might just be that machine, I then got a Premium and have had more problems with it getting stuck than the series 3. I am now thinking if I where to get a Roamio it would probably never even turn on or blow up upon plugging it in. Because of these problems my opinion of Tivo has really soured. I never tell people about Tivo anymore. I fell Tivo dose not stand by it's product and is getting worse with each model. What is your opinion and how widespread do you think some of these problems are with some of the series 3s and Premiums? I would think a least they would offer a trade in on the lemon machines. It's not if we want something for free but only what we pay for.
I'm trying to put tivo desktop software on my my new ssd hardrive windows 8.1 install. I tried redownloading the TiVoDesktop2.8.3 software from 2 different places. same result as seen in screenshot. i assume once i do get it installed ill hav eto apply the patch for it that tivo released for it after they broke it
New roamio arrived but I appear to be having a little trouble with the unit itself. On Frontier Fios, called and received the newest cable card. I thought that everything was going great after the first day but all of a sudden, I lost all audio and video. Went into the DVR diagnostics, and all tuners are between 80-84% signal strength, and SNR is 31-33db for all 6 tuners. Nothing I do can bring the stations back. Restarting the box brings all tuners back to normal.
Ok, small glitch I thought, it happened once, but then it did it another two times a little over an hour apart. Same black screen, no audio but with all signals in the recommended range under the diag screen. Restarted and all was working.
Called Frontier. They rolled a tech out to replace the cable card with another one. A day passed and I thought it was fixed, bad cable card I thought. Then low and behold, it did it again this evening. Of course this messes up the scheduled recordings that are trying to record.
Has anyone else had this trouble? Should I be thinking this is a hardware thing and should I be getting this unit replaced?
Premier XL. I'd like to use the 1080p output of the HDMI and 720p on the component at the same time. Is this possible?
Recently added a new Roamio today to my existing two Premieres. I had a stream, which I unplugged.
When I try to use the ipad app, I get the login screen asking for a media access key. I check the DVRs and the key is the same key that it has always been.
I enter the key, and I'm immediately punted back to the login screen.
