V106 Not In Your Account

    Every few days one of my premiers starts complaining that I can't get to my other premiers, the other premiers on not on my account. Nothing has changed on my account (according to tivo.com) and my MAK is correct on all of my DVRs. A reboot seems to fix the problem.

    It is getting old having to constantly reboot these DVRs.

    They are all connected via ethernet switch not through a router, so I am not sure what to do...

    Is this a known problem with the current release ?

    Today my service level went from C to A, for no reason.
    The DVR claimed it needed to be activated.

    I spoke to Tivo Support this is known issue with Tivo DVRs
    if you have product lifetime there may be a glitch in the Tivo
    service call and cause your DVR to think that it is not activated.

    This causes the DVR to not work any more.
    He suggested that I perform 2 more service calls and rebooting.

    My problem is that this seems to be happening every few days.

    I have FIOS and a very good connection to the internet. All my Tivos
    are connected via wired ethernet.

    So this is a major Tivo failure that I have to reboot my Tivos every few days....

    Sounds like a TiVo (head end) problem.
    Time to ask for the next level of tech help.
