I have cut the cord and I still own this THR-22. I would like to purchase a HD antenna and run it through this. Just set up manual recordings like the original Tivos did.

    Is this possible?

Not only does the THR22 not have an OTA tuner, but all recording is disabled without active service. BTW, you don't own the THR22, it's leased.

I think "if" it is capable of working like that, you'd at least need the AM21 OTA module for it, but I don't think that works with the THR-22, does it?

stevel, DirecTV doesn't want these back, at least that what's they told me, so for all intents and purposes it's owned I would say.

Works fine, or did when I subscribed.

What I'd like to find are drivers to get that old AM21 to work with other devices!
