No way Big Jim leaves her there. My money says Jr. finds dad and locks him up too.

This week was definitely better than last.

Yeah, the boy shushing the camera creeped me right out. First scary thing I have seen in this show!

Shouldn't it have been effing obvious? Lots of sick people + guy with gun = quarantine.

Well, no, not really. Surly high school kid with gun holding building full of people hostage = potential Sandy Hook/Boston Marathon.

In this day and age, I don't think anybody would assume anything short of somebody in a position of authority giving some kind of explanation.

And presumably, some kind of explanation was given. But I really think it needed to be seen.

When Junior walked in with the shotgun he belligerently declared that the clinic was closed and nobody was leaving. Then we were supposed to believe that later in the day he brilliantly talked people out of rioting...

No, that's not what we are supposed to believe. He did no such thing. That's just what she told his dad.

    Uh, that's what they showed.

Anyway, while still badly written, at least PEOPLE acted more like people this week.

Clearly it was a fantasy scene. It makes perfect sense that Junior would stand as an armed guard for a 1/2 hour and acting sheriff would be so impressed with it that she creates a grand scenario for his dad and then deputizes him. [/sarcasm]

In fairness, that was a brilliant speech he gave to calm down the riot.

Also in fairness, that brilliant speech was wildly out of character from anything we'd seen from the surly little psychobrat before.

Wait, so now people are supposed to talk to each other and explain things?! You guys are asking too much...

That's why I ffwded through it after about 15 seconds.

Not only did Junior calm the townsfolk down but he and Barbie played nicely together a couple of times. It's like the writers forgot how they'd been writing him.

Even so, if it were a glorified story that Linda told Big Jim, it would have come at the time she told it, not several scenes before.

As I read it, those weren't necessarily the questions he actually had about the show, they were the kinds of questions he would have expected the network to have had about the show (and to give to the producers as "notes").

Also, he's a comedy writer, so the full list isn't completely serious, either.
