Has anyone been able to assign a static ip to the TIVO Wireless N Adapter.

I keep following the instructions but it won't stick. It keeps using hte DHCP given one and does not keep the static IP in the settings. Recyling it does nothing.

The reason I am doing this is because every couple of days or a week the TIVO Wireless N Adapter Craps out causing the TIVO to no longer be accessible over the Home Network and it cannot access the TIVO Service.

I should have gone with a dedicated wireless bridge instead of the adapter.

Somehow it finally stuck so it is using a static IP. I also update my DHCP Lease Timeout setting.

Let's see if that clears up the network drop issue.
