Does anyone know if you can watch "standard" Hulu (not Hulu plus) on a TiVo Premiere without a Hulu Plus subscription?

    Thanks in advance.

Actually, the correct answer to the question asked is yes.
    And jrtroo is absolutely correct.

"Standard" Hulu can't be watched (easily) on ANY device other than a PC.

Hulu Plus provides an app for many devices including Tivo.

Well actually yes many of us know the answer to if you can watch Hulu (not the Plus version) on a TiVo Premiere.

However the answer isn't just a simple yes or no.

Hulu (not Hulu+) is not natively supported on TiVo however there is a way to watch it on a TiVo using a computer, Playon, & pytivo. You use Playon & pytivo installed on computer to stream Hulu from the computer to your TiVo. See this thread for where to find detailed info:

    Ok, I was caught.

Initially, I was going to be snarky, then reconsidered and edited poorly.

Yes. It is well known that this is NOT possible with Tivo apps.

Try searching, this is a topic that has a multitude of thread discussions. What incentive would Hulu have to provide a pay service for use on a Tivo and then undercut themselves with their free service?
