That is a very good question. Probably because they are trying to do too much at once or something. Looks to me to be very similar performance problems as on the Premiere, itself. No matter what you try to do, it ends up contacting TiVo's servers again and again, to display a bunch of crap. It is certainly NOT because the device itself is too slow, at least not in my case (Xoom). On the phone app, they don't tell you anything "Internet" about the show unless you actually SELECT a show and want more info. Only you can answer that. I find the tablet version unusably slow.
