Tivo Desktop Plus stopped working after update

    We have Tivo Desktop Plus and after the last update that changed the my shows set up it is no longer working. We have tried restarting the computer and the Tivo several times with no luck. The Tivo is not recognizing the computer and the computer is not recognizing that there is a Tivo attached.

    We have not changed anything, the only difference is that we just got an automatic update changing the way to sort your shows.

    Help would be appreciated, we use this a lot to watch our movies.

    Try going into TiVo Desktop under the Services menu and select ‘TiVo Server Properties’. Click the Network tab and check which discovery protocol you are using. Use Bonjour if you’re not already using it. Then click on the Access Control tab and check the access to your TiVo’s.
