Tivo and Netflix's

    I went to use Netflix on my Tivo HD and went I click on it the Tivo reboots. I have use it in the past but this weekend I tried it 4 times and every time I click on Netflix it reboots. Any one run into this?

    Can you click on it via the now playing list? Mine reboots as well via the video on demand screen. Def a bug and i would report to tivo

    If I click on show in now playing list it reboot also. My DVD player has Netflix feature I will have to use that unless there is a update that will fix it but I think the HD is a dead box for updates.

    Try this:

    Go to the Netflix website and click on "Your account & help".
    Under Instant Watching, click on "Manage devices & computers".
    Next, disconnect your devices*.
    After that, try to enter the Netflix app on the Tivo and see what happens.

    * Note this will disconnect all of your devices, so you will have to re-activate each one individually.

    The idea here is that there could be something awry with the connection between the Tivo and Netflix, and doing this might flush the system (so to speak).

    Just a update I did a chat with Tivo today and they had it fixed in about 30 seconds I bought a new TV last week and the video setting was set to smart screen and she had me change it to 16:9 and that took care of it.

    thats crazy, mine is set to smartscreen too. I will have to try it out.

    I like the disconnecting devices idea as well

    That saved the day. Changed the Tivo (settings,video) from 4:3 SD 16:9 HD to 16:9 and it didn't reboot when I started Netflix. Yayyy.
