I'm in. I agree, the last mini reboot wasn't great, but it was still mostly enjoyable. I hope they aren't pushing it with 10 episodes.

No thanks. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

That last reboot was godawful. :(

I didn't think it was that interesting. Just...blah.

The weird episode with the lizard dude was great. He was a lizard dude, right? Don't remember 100%.

The rest was just ok. I will still check out this new season.

I know a lot of people hated that episode, but I thought it was utterly brilliant. The sole high point of the season for me. Rhys Darby was great, and props to the writers for coming up with such a brilliant off-the-wall idea. :D

A big part of the problem is that Chris Carter sucks at writing yet insists on doing it. So that's why we got those mostly boring conspiracy episodes to open and close the last "season." The episodes written by others, like the Darren Morgan one referenced above, were actually really good.

Hopefully Carter allows others to be more involved in the writing process for these ten episodes.

I will cling to the hope that they thought S10 was bad and will try to make up for it in S11. I would even go as far as having Mulder wake up in bed in E01 saying "Whoa! I just had the weirdest dream."

Kinda like me clinging on to the hope that Indy-5 will make up for the mess that was Indy-4.

I liked last year's episodes, so I'll watch again. I like these short seasons, much easier to digest then the typical 22-24 episode seasons on broadcast TV.
