As much as some of the characters annoy me, I love the fast pace of this show. They don't drag crap out.

Poor April. When is she going to find out her BFF is daggered? And when are they going to un-dagger Rebekah? I miss her!

It was nice to see Katherine, even if she wasn't really there.

I liked Matt's conversation with Damon.

Klaus: It took me 59 years of being locked in this room to get past the hallucinations

Elena: That sounds terrible. Why did it take so long?

Klaus: It wasn't until a new...

    Elena: All set!

That April scene was funny, how they had her say the exact same thing she said the previous week in the Grill. And I agree about Rebekah.

The best part about Katherine was the writers had her say all the bad stuff that internet haters say about Elena. Classic meta stuff.

It would be funny if they made Matt the new Damon. Isn't Matt going to be seriously squicked if Elena takes up with Damon?

Speaking of which, ugh, I'm so tired of this plotline already.

Elena sure broke up with Stefan quickly. The dude kept one secret from her and she's all "I want Damon now". I actually felt bad for ol' Blockhead.

Klaus cracks me up. He's the most powerful person on the planet and all he does is yell at people with that silly accent.

I was thinking how Klaus expected Elena NOT to go crazy when he locked her up in a room all by herself. At least give her a tv to watch.

Isn't Caroline still in high school. I guess the Mystic Grill doesn't card the world's worst police chief's daughter.

Along with daylight rings all new Vamps in Mystic Falls are issued Fake IDs that magically change the date to keep the vamp the same age. Bonnie figured it out.

    Pretty funny this week:

    http://www.tv.com/news/the-vampire-...mes-review-fears-for-tears-photo-recap-30082/

    One of my favorite paragraphs:

Meanwhile at school, I have no idea WTF was happening there. All the classes were cancelled so that some college professor could set up some dioramas in the cafeteria? No idea.

Seriously - this town has some serious issues. School seems to be "whenever". So does work. So does time itself. People drink at all hours. It's impossible to keep track of when things are happening.

But I did learn the meaning of the expressions "ship" and "shipping". Yay me...:p

Yeah, I came across the "shipping" thing on another forum last year. Took me a while to figure it out. I'm old. ;)

Guess you didn't watch Buffy? That's when I learned about shipping. And I'm old, too!

I have the entire series on DVD. Watched it twice.

    Don't remember shipping...

Oh yeah, big time Buffy and Angel shippers were all around. I was more a Buffy and Spike shipper. Jeez, that was so long ago!

Me either. I guess I didn't go to forums back then. That would have made the show even better.

I learned about shipping and to avoid it at all costs while following Buffy on Television Without Pity.

    I'm gonna take a stand.

    Shipping is dumb.

Shippers and the show-runners who play to them can ruin my enjoyment of the things I watch. TVD is a great example. The more they play to the Delena shippers, the more I groan.

Of course Veronica Mars/Logan was a big shipping community as well. Blergh.

And I don't know if it was called shipping, but wouldn't the whole Dawson/Pacey/Joey thing on Dawson's Creek been a major example of shipping?
