Still watching. I love the new Hank-med doctor. His character really intrigues me for some reason. I hope he becomes a regular (like intro-credits regular).

I think they still have a great cast with awesome chemistry.

Surely Hank has made enough money off of these rich people to buy a new car.

He's said before he loves his car and doesn't want a new one. He did get Evan the minivan.

I have enjoyed the story of HankMD growing and Evan and Hank getting things organized. Not really intrigued with the Boris story....I admit to FF'ing thru most of it, that and the Divia and Dad story. Sigh. I am still a loyal watcher though. Not sure if skipping 2 of the 3 story arcs is loyal. As a geek I did enjoy the play on Star Trek this past week. That was fun.

Yes, the Star Trek stuff was fun.

So excess sulphur in the body results in green blood? Heh.

An underlying blood disease that causes diabetes, liver disease, and depression? And treated by bloodletting? I should ask my doctors about that.

It's a Saab 900 turbo convertible. Why in the world would he want to downgrade from the best car ever made?

    <-- Owner a 900 turbo 'vert. :D

Half the reason I tune in is for the Saab. The other half was for Jill Flint. The other female characters are growing on me though.

I suspect the translator is really a spy. They really made it obvious she's up to no good.

They featured the same disease on House. Yes, House's solution was bloodletting.

Google has lots of information on hemochromatosis.

I'm confused by the Boris story and skip through most of it.

Skipping through it might explain why you find it confusing.

Boris is working on a big oil deal, which has to be kept highly confidential. That's why he has requested Hank to sign the non-disclosure agreement. The principal other party that they are in negotiations with is a close friend of Boris, and is reportedly unwell. Boris has heard some things about his health issues, and has brought Hank in on it to medically help this guy, if needed. He was needed, as Hank had discovered that he was misdiagnosed. He had a very bad incident where he lost consciousness, and had a heart arrhythmia, which Hank fixed (at least temporarily). Boris is worried about his buddy, who doesn't like doctors, and has brought in Hank to help his friend.

It was a little more cloak and daggar than was entirely necessary, but you know, DRAMA and all!:D

I forgot to mention something. Did anyone else notice in the scene when Hank dunked Boris' firends head in the ice bucket, the ice cubes had sunk to the bottom. I know that they aren't actually using real ice and all, but they could at least use something that floats. It just looks weird to me.

Alright, I really want to keep liking this show, but I'm starting to think these are the laziest writers in Hollywood.

I know in season 1 and probably season 2 that they had actual clients who had problems and HankMed would go to their house and fix them up.

But this season, all the cases are random people they happen to come across and that person always has some sort of dramatic injury or accident right when HankMed is there to help them and that dramatic injury or accident leads to a medical mystery.

    Every. Freaking. Episode.

I'm okay with the medical mystery, but I'm tired of the "we just bumped into you randomly and then you have a big accident like falling off your horse or breaking your leg on the polo field or freaking out and tripping and falling into a glass table or slamming your hand in the car door right when we're standing there and it always leads to a big mystery" storyline. Seriously. Every episode. It feels really lazy.

I don't know. To me, that seemed to be this show's modus operandi since the pilot.

Boris has to be the one super rich guy that I would never want to be. Forget his disease. He's all alone in huge big house, surrounded by silent flunkies. I'd like his money but not his life.

    Forget Boris's life.

I'd never want to live in the Hamptons... there is every rare disease known to man there, and most people have some kind of disease that no one can properly treat. They'd be dropping like flies if Hank wasn't there. Yeah, this show does require some disbelief, but it's starting to get to be a little much.
