Not me. Not at all. The stupid "mind game" nonsense was just horrible. Nellie, in the right position fits in. She fit fine this week. There wasn't 10 minutes where Robert California fit in.

Nellie is just another character. Robert California was an attempt to completely change the show.

Huh, I did realize RC wasn't there. Is he not on the show anymore?

you watch too much maury

youd think dwight could have chosen a larger unit, maybe something like an air conditioner. as a counterweight :) im impressed he could hang on as long as it would take a fire truck to get there...

jim needs a job in state govt where he can do even more of nothign and get paid..so where is he going, i dont remember who he interviewed with

A startup a friend of his started using Jim's idea. I forget what it was, something about sports I think.

i thought it was a pretty good episode. several lol moments.

    the good:
    - no more robert california
    - the new guys. should be fun with dwight.
    - ryan and kellie gone. good characters, but had run their course.

    the bad:
    - nellie. why the hell is she still there. need her out, now.

    the ugly:
    - the turtle, of course.
    - dwight's vomit.

looking forward to the rest of the season.

Was this the first time anyone said "Michael" on the show since they finished interviewing for his replacement? Seemed kind of gratuitous to mention him there. Maybe they are reminding us that he exists for a reason?

I liked the ep. It wasn't a classic but I enjoyed it. Dwight assuming he and Pam weigh about the same was funny.

Nellie is still just hanging around there of her own volition and isn't actually an employee anymore, right? I thought she was done as an employee when Andy got the manager job back?

Granted, its been a while since I watched last season, and I haven't really been paying close attention.

I think Andy and Toby discussed how to get rid of Nellie and Toby said she could only be fired for cause. I'm not sure why that would be.

I think they realized that the audience didn't like Nellie so they are hoping that the audience will enjoy Andy making her work life hell. I think most people would rather have her gone though.

I loved the part where Andy realized why Michael hated Toby.

I also thought it was funny (albeit very predictable) when Dwight said that his bike on the tightrope wire thing was foolproof and then of course it swung upside down.

Pretty good episode. Creed's whole thing at the end was hilarious. How did they do that stunt with Dwight up on the wire? They must've had some sort of elevated platform under him.

If this weren't the last season, I probably would have cancelled the SP over the summer. That is the problem with US television, they milk the heck out of a show that is a hit (see ER and Grey's Anatomy).

Yes. A little Nelly is okay - a couple minutes a week, fine. More than that....bleh.

None at all, of course, would be much better.

Wow that was pretty close to a train wreck of a season opener!

I chuckled a couple of times but like others said stuff like the turtle scenes went on WAY too long.

I've been with the show since the beginning so I will continue watching, and I will be interested to see how they handle the Jim/Pam relationship and Jim's possible new job scenario.

I sure got the vibe that Jim and Pam were going to have rocky times ahead based on the way Jim took pause during the interview when Pam said nothing exciting was going to happen in their life for a LONG time. Add to that Jim appears to be missing his non-married days when he could be free to do what he wanted vs. being a paper salesman for life.
