You are both pretty. I mean, correct. I thought he was hit AND veered away, since someone said something about two Russian boats at the octopus, after that scene.

If the woman was exposed on her boat and was immune, wouldn't she be a carrier?

I thought the same thing, I was surprised that they were standing there talking to her without masks at the end.

I suppose it's possible she might have eradicated the virus and was not contagious, but it's just as possible that she is a carrier.

It is unclear whether someone that is immune can carry/spread the virus, but she certainly should not have bee considered "safe" as the default!

What about the Russian scientist? He appears to be an immune carrier.

Don't think he is Russian (but can't remember where he was in the flashback scene). We don't know he is a carrier, is he kept in that lab because he is contagious or because he is a prisoner?

Assuming you mean the guy in the Russian ship, rather than the Russian guy in the American ship.

He UVed his outgoing food tray, so I thought the implication was that the bug (or some bug anyway) is inside his containment cell.

His flashback scenes were in Norway, and based on what our scientist was saying we're to believe that he mutated the virus and made it worse.

Right, I think they are being paranoid and making sure the lab stays contained. Something the Americans don't seem to be doing very well.

No I'm pretty sure he is a carrier, the flashback strongly hinted that whatever the experiment is that he did made the virus mutate with the "humane gene" that Laura Croft was talking about. It also explains the "1 thing that you dont have" the Russian commodore was talking about in the earlier episode. They have the source of the mutated strand with the "human gene" in it.

I thought the "one thing" was just an immune person, which is tremendously useful.

    Connersville...
At one point in time, most of our helicopters had an even number of rotor blades (ie 2 or 4) and the Russian helicopters had an odd number (ie 3 or 5). Don't know if that is still the case. I'd say they were using a stolen helicopter anyway. Or production just used the same one. Either way, you'd think the Navy personnel would be able to identify the sound of their own helicopter.

I see that a LOT on the shows I watch. My wife and I usually point it out before it's revealed.

No way a carrier can fit on a destroyer.

What Russian guy on the American ship?

Or do you mean the scientist whose family has been kidnapped by the Russians?
Don't think he's actually Russian, just knows the language...

I thought he was a Russian married to a British woman. The fact that he is crazy about chess means he must be Russian, according to TV cliches, right?

Well the woman didn't yearn for a bag of "crisps" or "biscuits" at any point which are usually TV cliches to identify British people.

How cool would it be if the girl is a carrier and they all get the virus and then die in the last episode.
