Loved that scene!
I am not a police officer, but I always think its funny when a bad guy has a gun and it is aimed where someone's life is in danger. Funny that the police don't just shoot the guy. In Hawaii 5 -0 this week, hot woman army cop enters room finding bad guy with gun to innocent head and cop immediately shoots bad guy in the head. To me, that is exactly correct.
Or worse, they give up their own gun!
Yeah, that sounds like a good negotiating tactic...give up the only leverage you have, so not only does the hostage get killed, so do you.
Exactly. The bad guy's head and shoulder are always poking out from behind the hostage. The cops should be a good enough shot to just shoot the bad guy in the head right then rather than negotiating or giving up their gun.
AND turn off the loud music.
Well I didn't say it was totally believable.
Wait, what scene between Paul and Joe? Did I miss something?
Joe finally made his first kill.
Too bad it was Paul.
But whatever, it took him long enough!
You mean Jacob and Paul. Joe is the main serial killer.
Ah! Now I understand what you're saying.
Right, carry on!
Any tool can malfunction. However, the movies routinely show nailguns being fired this way, and a properly functioning nailgun will not fire without the safety depressed. That you know of one counterexample of a malfunctioning tool does not make this often-misused plot device any more realistic.
I enjoyed this episode. It wasn't as far fetched as most of them. The most unbelievable aspect of it for me was that there was nobody watching Jacob's relatives cabin.
My favorite bit was when the Blonde follower says to Ryan "You won't shoot me" and he promptly shoots her dead and then walks past her I honestly expected her to be wearing a vest or somehow survive the encounter in some far fetched manner. I'm liking the character of Ryan more and more each week.
