That explains it. I kind of tune out whenever Aubrey says anything...
Thanks for posting that. I found this bit very interesting:
That would be a pretty obvious reason why Paul's team lost. I wonder why that wasn't mentioned at all during the episode.
Ok, I can see why Trump would question bringing Aubrey back instead of Arsenio, but the reason Trump kept giving was that they didn't like Aresenio's puppet. That seemed to be the only reason they didn't like Arsenio. Now granted, Aubrey didn't have that knock against her, but Teresa also botched the puppet AND she broke improv rules.
So if Paul DOES bring Arsenio back and Trump can't hammer Paul for that anymore, is it a gang-up-on-Teresa situation then and Teresa gets fired? I was getting a little annoyed that Trump kept hammering on that when it was clear that neither Aubrey or Aresenio were going to be fired. And when Teresa fails both the puppet creation AND her performance, it seems that a pretty pi$$ poor excuse for firing Paul (for not bringing bach AH).
Now that being said, I have to agree with Cearbhaill that it seemed Paul had checked out anyway.
I did find it kind of funny that with all the money that had been flying around and all of the fakey last second, "Donald, we'll double that" or whatever, that Henson & Co. didn't kick in anything extra and all LL got was the base $20,000.
Spoilers on the final two are readily available if you look- the finale itself is live so for that we have to wait
Yes, I thought that was odd as well, but I guess Henson wasn't really advertising a national product that would benefit from the exposure on the show, so they really had no incentive to kick in $30-40k.
Lisa is clearly bi-polar. I really only knew of her from the Comedy Central roasts. I guess she writes some funny stuff, but she's a horrible person.
I guess I don't agree with all of the Lisa hate here. I think she went WAY overboard this episode, enough so that I disliked her on this episode... but I do think she had a lot of valid points on previous episodes.
Even if she did have a valid point (and that's a mighty big IF) she has a strange way of expressing it.
I understand that this is stressful and that cameras follow you around all the time and that three days of comments and conversations are edited down to the juciest five minutes- I get that.
But you could have followed me around the entire 35 years I worked and you would never have seen anything even close to approximating her explosions and tirades and belittling and dismissive ugliness- and I am betting you could say the same thing for anyone here.
That is not normal behavior under any circumstances- ever. And I worked both with animals and folks who didn't speak English as a first language (or hardly at all for that matter).
You just do not speak to people that way.
The yelling and yelling and yelling.... oy!!
So two ladies crying this episode.
Lisa seems to cry way too much, it's almost like the big tough bully crying once he's done bullying his victim. And all that from a fan of her stand-up, but I don't think she's cut out for this. Clay actually outshined her in the improv IMO.
And Dayanna crying, well, that should be illegal. I keep trying to figure out if i feel bad for her because she is so damn beautiful or she's getting the short end of the stick. I'm trying to be subjective, i promise, but I don't see her doing anything wrong.
Lisa is clearly jealous of Dayanna's beauty, it's so obvious.
I heard what sounded like crying from Lisa but I sure don't recall seeing any tears. Seemed completely fake as she's learned how to work it in the Boardroom with the sob stories and woe is me act.
I really wanted Lisa to get fired, but I knew her team would win. Oh well, maybe next week.
I've heard they tape are long, I doubt she's doing much for the family on the days they tape.
Just to add some fuel to the Lisa hate, which I think is already fully-deserved from her behavior on the show:
Lisa Lampanelli uses racial slur against Dayana Mendoza
I also don't get all the Lisa hate. I am a little shocked at her crying about some things but she may just not be cut out for this type of a show. Has she really done/said anything to anyone other than Dayana? I think she just doesn't like her and/or their personalities don't mesh well. Add that to her seeming to think Dayana really doesn't do anyhting (in the first few tasks at least) and it's not a recipe for lifelong friends.
As far as her "racial slur", she shouldn't have said it but no one cared when Arsenio used some pretty harsh words with Aubrey. Lisa's a comedien. She's kinda like a "shock jock". They say things that ride the line and maybe she went over the line this time.
Of course, I'm in the minority on this. Once people have their minds made up on who they like or dislike, they usally defend them until the end.
I'm surprised at statements like this. As I've said previously, Lisa is a vile person. You don't communicate with people the way she does. She has a chip on her shoulder and instantly attacks, yelling and screaming insults. Hell, you don't even communicate with dogs that way. I wish she would just go away forever. No need for her type of person in society.
I guess I missed all the "vile" stuff on the show. Maybe I ff'ed too much. Yeah, she didn't like Dayana. She talked over her (and I think Dayana did the same) in one episode. What else? That's what I asked originally.
She did use the racial slur, which is uncalled for, but have you ever seen her stand up or roasts? She says some pretty brutal stuff sometimes.
ANd, as I said, Arsenio did the same thing. Takling/yelling over Aubrey, calling her some pretty vile names, but most people here, it seems, thought that was OK.
The difference is that Arsenio doesn't do it on a daily basis and also admitted that he shouldn't have chose that path.
I can see your point. maybe I am not remembering it correctly but I don't think Lisa did it daily. I know there was at least a task or two she really didn't fight and didn't she even complement her on one or two?
ANd maybe Lisa will admit she shouldn't have called her (insert racial slur here). But I just don't see an issue with her raising her voice. It was in the heat of the moment (a couple of times) and she was, arguably, right. Even if just in her perspective. Besides, that's what happens in darn near every "reality" show. People whine, yell, complain, cuss, whatever. Just because it was against this stunning woman it's a big deal.
Not a factor at all.
You're SO #$%ing stupid #$% you #$% retard @#$hole there's not a brain cell in your #$%ing head and I've told you @#$%tard times and it goes right through your #$%head god #$%it could you be any #$%^ing STUPIDER and useless, #$%ing <insery nationality here> the whole lot of them are #@*$ing retarded.
Is that really how you talk to people?
Can you really not see how offensive that is?
