Storage Space Question - Amazon VOD files

    Been awhile since I used a Premier. I would often buy HD TV Shows on Amazon and either manual or auto download (tv pass) to my premier, but I had an XL.

    Was kinda curious how many one hour HD episodes I could fit on the standard 500gig drive.

    Since a 500 GB can expectedly hold 75 HD hrs, it can vary, depending on content, whether its recordings, or Amazon. If you use Netflix, it does not count.

    If you have purchased any Amazon video, it would be in your video library, and to get it to you Tivo, you must get it downloaded there from the web site, not from Tivo's Amazon menu. Otherwise, its another purchase.

    If Amazon HD downloads are consistent, expect a one hour program to be about 2.5 GB.
