I have a Series 2 TIVO and blocking the satellite signal for a few seconds causes a reboot. Is there anything that could cause this other than a faulty recorder?

    Thanks

DirecTivos can do funny things if they lose satellite signals. I suppose the easy fix is don't stand in front of your dish. Or mount your dish higher. :)

Yes, rebooting on signal loss is not unheard of in DTiVos.

Thanks for the replies. This dish is for our rv which is mounted close to the ground. I will make sure to locate it out of the traffic ares.
