I had high hopes for this ep-especially since (per the monologue) it was 13 years in the making ;):p ...but pretty much a MEH for me...

The cold opening was hilarious! Encarta and AOL indeed!

Autumn's Eve commercial was cute-and the Winter's Eve was funny (OOH! Peppermint! :D )

12 Days not a slave got the most laughs from me...1863-era Miley Cyrus twerking in her hoop skirt made me do a spit take! :p

"Do you think the next president will be black?"
    "Not the next one...
    "IT'S BEEN 2 WEEKS!!" :D

The jokes on Weekend Update were strong...I ff'ed through "second-hand news"-never found that funny.

I still have 10 minutes more to watch, but I thought it was pretty strong. Norton surprised me.

I really liked the Wes Anderson horror movie and the Rainman thing. The last sketch with Diego was super weird.

This is the first cold open I've liked in awhile.

I just don't get the Steve Harvey skits. Not the least bit entertaining to me.

And second-hand news is a snoozer for me too.

I thought in the beginning Edward was doing great with his lines, but it seemed about halfway through he started looking at the cue cards more and more, and his timing was a bit off then.

Musical guest confused me. The brightness was a bit much.

The cold open was funny, but it wasn't that good an impression of Sibelius. The HHS Secretary has the bland demeanor a corporate CEO and not a big toothy smile.

I would have liked to a recreation of Obama's rose garden speech where he 'saves' the pregnant woman followed by a stream of more and ridiculous medical emergencies in the crowd that he has to deal with.

So is Miley Cyrus going to keep showing up every week for no real reason, kind of like Jon Lovitz was doing years ago?

Might be part of the deal she made to do the previous show, to plug her new crap this week.

    That would have been good.

I've only watched the first 10 minutes but I'm already PO'd that Baldwin and Cyrus are basically giving commercials during the monologue! WTH, SNL!

I thought it was funny how Baldwin did it but Miley annoyed me.

The cold open was great as was 12 Days. The big girl's line about this being the best two weeks of her life was funny.

The rest fell flat for me. I do like how the skits seem shorter. They don't seem to drag a bad joke into the ground anymore.
