Man did that cold open start slow, I really enjoyed the second half of it though.

That must be one of the longest monologues ever, holy crap it just seemed to go on and on.

I remember liking Goin' Out On Top a lot more the first time they did it, though it did get funnier as it went on.

I really like Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, thought they sounded pretty good.

Turned it on late and only saw the Walking Dead and Shark Tank skits. Thought they were both incredibly bad. (Though I did chuckle a little at the Thriller dance.)
Both skits seemed to be written by someone who was generally told about the shows but had never seen them.

Pretty dumb show. Most of the night was to set up a racism joke. "Really?" was way off.

No Don Pardo this week -- except that they obviously used a recording of him saying "This has been 'Really?!?!'" (original names cut off) during Weekend Update, and I think that may have been a older recording of him announcing Justin Timberlake as next week's guest. TMZ says he broke a hip recently, and is recovering well.

The first part of the Z-Shirt commercial went on a bit too long, but I really liked the fact that there was an unexpected second part. Based on that and a couple of other sketches, it seemed like Kevin Hart really hit it off with Tim Robinson during the week.

They had to be using a laugh-track for Z-shirt. I can't believe people would laugh at every single letter he threw out. The first couple, ok, but after 12 or so it just isn't funny.

The YMCA tribute in the cold open was hysterical...and I LOLed at the joke in WU about the guy here in Indiana who called 911 NINE times to order a cheesburger (But, sir, we've already brought you eight cheeseburgers!") ...makes me so proud to be a Hoosier- NOT!

Besides that-barely a laugh. Looking forward to JT as always.

I laughed once, maybe twice. Listened to 30 seconds of the musical act before skipping it, as usual.

But I've watched since episode 1 in 1975 - I just can't quit you, SNL!

Don Pardo broke a hip recently. I read it on TMZ, I think. They say he's doing well.

Jay Pharoah does a horrible Obama. The only thing he gets right is they are both black.

I liked Jay when he first started, but either they aren't using him right, or every character is based on Denzel.

I actually Kevin Hart. I've seen a few of his standup routines. But thought he was awful. I'm only about half way through the show so far, but he seems to be much more hyper than normal. And he's pretty hyper to start with.

I think Armisen could do the voice/cadence, but they didn't find a funny way to charichature Obama through situation or mannerism. I think Darrel Hammond said he had something like 37 mannerisms to pull from for his Clinton.
Pharoah started with kind of a street thug interpretation, but that didn't really work for me. Also, I don't think they write him that way anymore either.

The one that worked for me was the Armisen/Johnson version of "The Rock" Obama. But they can't (and shouldn't) do that every week.

Trust me, it's easy. You already don't think it's funny. No one will ever replace Chevy Chase. Stop watching. :)
