Not marked by new by useless Rovi.
Please report it to TiVo if you haven't already. Rovi won't fix their problems unless those problems cause them pain.
The Tivo website is really online configured to report lineup issues when a channel is incorrect, missing or displaying the wrong program info...but I have submit the issue there anyway.
As far as I know, calling in to Tivo support is pretty much useless these days post Rovi acquisition.
I used the online chat. Took a few minutes to convince them repeating guided setup wouldn't do any good. I have a case number. If they don't fix it in the next week, I'll schedule it manually, but at least I tried and if they get enough complaints, they may just do something.
At the end of the chat session, you'll get a request for a feedback survey. I consistently rate the support folks fine, but TiVo as not something I'd recommend to family or friends. I explain in the text box that Rovi has really killed the TiVo experience.
I don't see anything incorrect about the episode data. Am I missing something? Why is my 1P not seeing this as an upcoming episode?
Is is time to create a new 1P for this one?
I see it now - it says original air date is 1/6/2016 not 2017!
Reported to TiVo
Yes, you've unearthed the mystery. No wonder why it's not listed as new. Hopefully Rovi corrects it in time, but I'm not holding my breath.
Now now, don't run around like a headl...
Oh. Never mind.
Well, Episode 2 is marked as new and in the To Do List. Episode 1's data is still farked.
It's bad on tv.com, but good everywhere else. Well, not on my TiVo, but the rest of the modern world.
If it's good on tv.com, that means Rovi has the data, doesn't it? So maybe it will update the next time I connect?
tvguide.com also uses Rovi data and it's right. Four more days.
Still broken as of last night. It's dumb they'd correct EP2 but not EP1.
I was hopeful when I saw that the NBCBoston problem was finally fixed. I was hoping they fixed all the currently known guide problems. but this is still broken.
They didn't need to correct ep. 2...it was always listed as 2017.
I wonder if the erroneous January 2016 airdate means this episode will be skipped over for Skipmode.
Still not corrected. Trained monkeys could do a better job. Even untrained monkeys might be better.
Indeed. I reported this issue along with several other guide data problems to TivoMargaret last week. Sad state of affairs.
