    What's House of Lies about?

    Glad about Californication.

    LOVE Shameless!!!

"House of Lies"....not so much. Nothing redeeming about it at all, IMHO!

And such a waste of Kristen Bell, too.

I want to like House of Lies, but it's hard. Don Cheadle = fantastic. Kristen Bell = hot/awesome. Ben Schwarz = funny in sleazy/dooshy way. But the show just doesn't work.

I agree 100%!! The actors are great but the overall show is just not very good. I am certainly no prude but all the sexual references get tired real quick.

Shameless, on the other hand, is great! Frank has become a real louse and has gone lower and lower this season!

House of Lies is shallow but not really exciting enough to make up for it.

Californication lost its edge long ago.

Agree re both, House of Lies and Shameless.

I never watched Californication and hear that it's great. However, sounds like it's lost some of its punch, so not worth watching now, is that right? Or is this worth a DVD or streaming from Season 1?

I'm about ready to give House of lies the ziggy. Been watching since the beginning and not getting anything out of it. Shameless on the other hand is great. Never watched Californication.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I think House of Lies is pretty funny. I might not watch if it was an hour, but at half an hour I'm entertained enough to stick with it.

    I even like Enlightenment.

I enjoy it. It's a fast half hour, snappy dialogue, and Kristen Bell always toots my horn (or whatever those krazy kids call it these days).

I love Don Cheadle, and the actor that plays his son is a real find-reminds me of Justin from Ugly Betty. He's got a real future IMHO

And yes, Kristen Bell is wonderful, but geez-agreed-what a waste of her talent!

I enjoy the show. Initially I thought the show was a waste of Kristen Bell but her character's gotten better.

From near the end of season one:

    Are you proud of me?
