Ordered my S3 today this is the first TiVo I've owned, I've had D-TiVo in the past. They are coming out to install cable cards on 10/9 in the afternoon. Any tips of what to do before cable person comes out? Should TiVo be active? Is it best to do it online?

No. You have 7 days to play prior to activation.

Mine is setup with cablecards, and season passes and I still haven't activated it yet.

No. If for some reason it doesn't function properly, you won't have to deal with Tivo cs and having the sub transfered to a new box.

OK, I thought the unit would have to be activated to see if the cable cards work. I guess this is not so.
