My new Roamio Plus experience is driving me crazy.

First unit had to be returned to Tivo after a possible bad M cable card installation froze it up to where it wouldn't finish a reboot.

After getting my new replacement unit and contacting my cable provider twice complaining that my TV Guide Channels are totally wrong they tell me it is a Tivo problem.

Cable One, Biloxi/Ocean Springs, MS 39565

    M Card: 514517-017-00

First 3 channels shown are 29, 88, 91 then jumps to 300 + and most are unavailable.

Repeat guided setup and choose the correct cable company. If yours doesn't show up then try an adjacent zip code. If that doesn't work, then contact TiVo customer service to have a lineup created.

Are you sure your card is properly paired to the box?

Cable Provider: Cable One, Jackson County, Mississippi
    Location: Biloxi/Ocean Springs, MS 39565
    M Cable Card: Motorola 514517-017-00

The Guide channel listing loads properly without cable card installed but cannot view any of the channels.

    Correct channel list:

    14 Local Programming
    15 WGN

With the cable card installed the Guide changes to display the wrong listing and only a few channels can be viewed.

Guide channel list starts at 29, 88, 91 then jumps to 300 + but most cannot be viewed.

Card shows paired and installed. So far I've had the cable company replace one card and last night called twice to pair and recheck and still the wrong guide.

Please note that I've tried doing and checking everything I possibly could on my end more than once. Not my first rodeo with Tivo and I don't have this problem with my Premiere XL though I don't need a cable card with that one to function properly.

Does your cable company use SDV? If so you'll need a Tuning Adapter to get the missing digital channels.

First off, Cable ONE is a Tivo partner and offers the Premiere platform as a rental option directly from them, so let's assume they know how to properly pair the CableCard.

It sounds like the <100 channels are still analog, so without a CableCard, you'll get nothing on the Roamio since it doesn't support Analog, but your Premiere XL does since it still supports Analog.

You mention you've done a lot of troubleshooting already. I have to ask, have you re-run guided setup with the CableCard installed. It appears you should have 2 options for the guide for your Zip code.

Cable ONE Jackson County - Cable (Ocean Springs)
Cable ONE Jackson County - Digital (Ocean Springs)

Have you selected the "Digital" option when setting up the Roamio?

    Thanks for all the replies.

Was expecting basically the same guide which IS NOT the case with the Roamio Plus and Cable One.

The HD channels are now mostly in the 400 channel range so it will take some time to relearn.

First time I've seen any reference to a "digital" setting, and now wondering if that will change anything.

Another thing I've found is that while I added actual HD channels to the list, we have lost a few of our favorite analog channels on the Roamio which are still available on my older Premiere XL. Wonder if those will be available in the near future, like The Weather Channel HD.

Cable ONE Jackson County - Cable (Ocean Springs)
Cable ONE Jackson County - Digital (Ocean Springs)

The two options that showed up for me were:

Cable ONE Jackson County - Basic Cable (Ocean Springs)
Cable ONE Jackson County - Extended Basic Cable (Ocean Springs)

It didn't matter which one was picked. Resulted in the same channel list.

If those channels are analog you will never get them on a Roamio, but there should be digital equivalents for most of them in the higher channels.
