Anyone have any idea what retailers are paying TiVo for a Plus (which currently retails for about $400)?

Weaknees has a $25 off coupon and free shipping, so it would need to be less then $350 for them to make any profit at all. (shipping a TiVo costs $15-30) I doubt there is any way for you to actually find out the wholesale cost without being a TiVo dealer.

If you extrapolate the same profit margin the the Plus would be $294

    You are misunderstanding.

The question was what the retailer pays for the Roamio before they sell it to the consumer.

Meaning that the profit margin on the Roamio basic for retailers like Best Buy is around 20%.
