    This looks quite interesting:

Saw a preview for it tonight while watching America's Got Talent, then pulled up the trailer on youtube. A world without electricity? Interesting proposition.

I'm afraid it will be another case of "great premise poorly executed".

These type of shows are currently not in vogue. I don't think it's just that they are poorly executed. Of course some are, but many others are simply victims of being produced today. For a long time there wasn't a variety show on TV and now that they've been reinvented as reality... they're everywhere. With the success of "Justified" and "Hatfields and McCoys" you can bet westerns will make a comeback.

It's a big circle and currently these type of shows are OUT especially on network TV.

Hatfields & McCoys is scripted? DAMMIT!!! I thought it was a reality show featuring their descendants and current conflicts. Now I wish I'd watched. :(

If you talk westerns, throw in Hell on Wheels.
