The Mini's Power cord plug is not very conducive to fitting behind a close to wall flat panel TV wall outlet.

In other words, it's too fat to fit into a recessed wall outlet box.
Can I use something else? If so what?

If it is in a song, it is a chord.

It is connects to the power connector, it is a cord.

    HAHA

Anyway, what about putting a 2-prong to 3-prong adapter in the socket to bring it farther forward and allow the mini cord to connect? Or a really short extension cable?

Ha - you got me! Thanks

Yeah, there isn't a lot of space behind the TV as it is So I am not sure I can turn the plug enough to attach it to an adapter.
BTW - whoever came up with that Mini plug wasn't thinking IMO. It's a small brick & yet they suggest mounting the Mini behind a TV?!

    Eeash.
