Yes, and when I checked this evening to see how the transfer was doing, I found that it quit early, with an error like "tivo rejected transfer and closed the socket". I notice that in addition to the version of Python, the version of pyTivo is different. Fast: Code: INFO:pyTivo:Last modified: Tue Jul 02 20:14:10 2013 INFO:pyTivo:Python: 2.7.4 Slow: Code: INFO:pyTivo:Last modified: Mon Oct 07 20:11:30 2013 INFO:pyTivo:Python: 2.7.5 So I installed Python 2.7.4, but it doesn't help. The earliest version of pyTivo I could find quickly was Aug 09, 2013, so I installed that to see if it made a difference. It doesn't seem to. Well thanx for your time & effort. Re the pyTivo forum thread, I don't suspect the NIC, as kmttg pulls at 94% speed, and WMC gets OTA mpeg streams from the SiliconDust tuners at about 13% speed, compared to the Tivo transfer at <1% speed. I rebooted this morning, prior to the 1:30AM transfer attempt. Sometimes thats the only way I can clear the ToDo list of transfers queued up that will never happen. I'll try whatever else I can think of, but I'm not hopeful.
