Previous SP stopped working, now Can't Schedule a Season Pass

    Believe me, I searched. :) All the other "hits" were 2-3 years old.

    I previously had a season pass set up to record the nightly news.

    D/FW area; Channel 508; "News 8 at 5" is the title.

    A couple of weeks ago, the SP just stopped recording.
    Bringing up the SP says no future showings.

    So I figured, OK, they just changed the name or something, so I deleted the Season Pass and went to the Grid Guide to set up a new one.

    There it is; 5:00pm, channel 508, "News 8 at 5".
    Hit the record button -- No SEASON PASS option.
    But there is a "Future Episodes" (or some other phrase) that, when selected, does indeed show it airing every weeknight.

    I tried also setting up the SP via "Search," but that doesn't work either.

    What's up with this?

    try setting up a one-time recording and then go to the To Do List and see if you can set an SP from there.

    If the guide indicates (incorrectly) that the program is a special instead of a series, then you won't have the season pass option.

    If that's the case you should at least be able to set up an autorecording wishlist that'd work to grab this program.
