    Really?

    No one wants to comment?

I had thought this episode was going to end with "Get Carter" but it ended with "Get the man in the suit" instead.

It's a very good kickoff to the mid season finale, starting off as a good Carter piece as you see her moving everyone in place like chess pieces, seeing how all her actions since Beecher's death add up and ending with every crooked cop and criminal in the city gunning for Reese.

Lionel, Lionel, Lionel, you really fell for "Give me your keys and go get your vest"?

And best line of the night?
    "Wait, that's my grenade launcher?"

Great episode all around and I look forward to seeing Reese's next move.

    That made me laugh.

Good episode. I just hope they close the HR chapter and move on.

I believe I saw it advertised that it was a three part story to end the first half of the season so I'm guessing that the HR chapter will be pretty much closed by the end of it.

Yes, good ep and again a lot more Carter and a lot less of Fusco, which btw was shown in the coming attractions last week as
being killed, so I was expecting that to happen this week.

    Is that what'll happen?

I was wondering if that's what was going to happen or if it's a classic fake-out. Make us look think someone's going to die but really they'll all come through okay. Was there news that a regular was going to die?

I was surprised that John didn't think to shoot out the camera. So unlike him to make a mistake like that.

I was surprised that Harold didn't wipe the camera's memory remotely.

    It is Person of Interest.
It's not like they haven't faked someone's death before. But there have been rumors that a regular will die in this arc

I read that one of the lead characters was going to die, so I had this increasingly foreboding sense that this would be it for Carter (especially with the showing of her past). I actually was preparing for the disappointment of losing Taraji P. Henson as a cast member. So I was pleasantly surprised that Carter made it to the end of the episode alive. I was also surprised at the reveal of the reason behind her broken marriages.

I have a feeling Root will have some sort of (major?) presence in the remainder of the arc. Hopefully, Finch will take Reese's advice and get some doggy body armor for Bear.

Overall, I enjoyed the episode and hope the end of the HR storyline comes sooner rather than later.

I'm also hopeful that the HR storyline comes to an end so we can get back to the main arc. With the introduction of Shaw, they need to trim screen time for someone so either Fusco or Carter needs to get knocked off.

P.S. The end of the episode also shows that HR hasn't read the evil overlord list. Do the soliloquy after you've killed your target! :D
