New Premier Xl4...not Letting Me Assign Season Passes!

    I bought a new Premier XL4 today to replace my old Premier. I set it all up and got the cable card working. It downloaded the "Spring Update" and the 2 weeks of data appeared to fill up the Guide over about 3 hours.

    However, when I go to the "Find TV, Movies, and Videos section to start adding Season passes, it finds the show im looking for, but only the amazon and netflix versions, none of the guide data appears to have tranferred into the main search. It is not allowing me to assign any season passes, even if the show is live on tv now and i click the record button, the guide data is there but it wont let me assign the season pass. Very odd. I have set up many tivos over the years and never had this happen.

    The tivo has been up and running for about 4 hours now.

    Someone please help!!

    Try switching to SDUI mode which uses the local guide data for scheduling instead of internet data. There's been trouble reported in past that HDUI uses internet data which sometimes mismatches local guide data causing problems. SDUI searches the local data so cannot mismatch.

    Give it a day! For me the HDUI seems to be a day behind the SDUI for whatever reason. When a show I want to record is on the last day of available data the HDUI cannot find it, but the SDUI can.
