My Netgear Router (WGR614 v6) is allowing my computer to connect to the internet perfectly fine, but my tivo is telling me I have "no connection". Ive tried all 3 network settings (automatically from DHCP server, static IP, and let the DVR assign itself an IP adress) but no luck. Ive tried a few different website explaining how to set up the static IP adress and all i get is the gateway router could not be located or something like that.. The tivo connects perfectly fine when i run the ethernet cable from the modem to the tivo. What should i do? PLEASE HELP....

I purchased a Netgear WNDR3300 after the old Linksys router blew up. I had a similar problem. I called Netgear help and they did an excellent job walking me through some tweaks that resolved the issue. They also greatly improved the wireless speed to my laptop. If the the router is new, I recommend calling Netgear.
