Here you go. The 1947 Cadillac Series 62. I think this could be the model used in the show.
I couldn't tell if the plates on the cars had round corners which I think they did in that era.
I am old enough to remember the orange plates with the black letters.
California license plates:
I really liked this miniseries. I hope it becomes a regular series
I did too. But if they do a series, I hope it comes back in the same format this did. 6 Episodes is just about right to tell the story without stretching it out too much. I'd love to see other networks do the same. And there's no reason you couldn't do 6 episodes in the Fall, another 6 in the spring with a new story line in each set of 6.
Of course, where does it end? Next thing you know, they're doing eight six-episode stories a year.
And everybody's screaming bloody murder about the drop in quality.
Plus whining the four weeks when they don't have new episodes.
Of course There's always someone not satisfied
I like these short seasons a lot. Two of them per calender year is just about right. Isn't that the British model?
The car I had in mind was the Lincoln Continental.
They'll only be able to do 6 episodes a season because they could only round up like 8 cars.
BTW, Joe is in The Wolf of Wall Street, shirtless, ladies.
