I understand premier 4 tunner boxes and S5 pro / plus boxes can use ethernet port to provide network connections to other network devices (bridge) when using moca. but minis can not do this? Seems a terrible shame if they cant. Would have been a great way to extend my network but if it cant im bettersticking with Ethernet/wifi

The mini cannot create a moca network, but it can be a client of one. It's meant to be a client.

So unlike the s5/xl4, when mini is using moca, the ethernet port is useless. Such a shame tivo couldnt get this together. At my parents who use uverse there wireless bedroom reciever unit was able to use its ethernet port as a bridge.
