Exactly. Broken Wing says to Hopper, "now that we know where it isn't, we can work on where it is."

It hasn't been explained yet what "it" is.

"In medias res" is when a story starts in the middle, not when it has time jumps.

"Story with time jumps" is a story with time jumps. :D

I'm speculating that it is a weapon so powerful that it will allow the possessor to dominate the world military stage. If the US can't obtain the weapon by sending in a SEAL team then the only responsible course of action is to nuke the country to holds that weapon.

Taking out the warlord would create a power vacuum. His lieutenants would try to fill it, and the best way to score points would be by killing submariners. As the captain has said before, he doesn't need an insurgency on the island. It's best to deal with the devil they know. And they know more about him each passing day.

    They know he murders them.

They know he drugs them at the behest of their enemies.

Sometimes, knowing the devil you know just makes it more obvious that he needs killing. ;)

They were trying to show that the war lord has a heart when he objected to how they were treating the French lady, sorta like how Gus Fring is supposed to have more dimension on Revolution.

    Kill him anyway.

I wonder if the BZ was imported into the island in those black crates that the Colorado went out and retrieved for the warlord.

Now that would be some messed up irony right there.

LOL if an old man in a wheelchair starts ringing a bicycle bell rather frantically... run!

They were the ones that killed two SEALs, were interrogating Hopper, were trying to get info out of the French lady, were working with the warlord, and were eventually killed by King and the XO.

Between jumping in time and hallucinations this was really hard to follow. I gave up on figuring out who some of them were. Hope I didn't miss anything too important. I don't like to work that hard when I'm being entertained. ;)

I actually REALLY like time jumping around in shows, but thought this one was really confusing.

I even transferred it back to my Tivo (had offloaded it since I wasn't watching Last Resort for a while, now I've caught up except for the 2nd episode which I missed), so I can eventually go back through it.. I don't think I'll rewatch the whole thing, but the parts with the bad guy with the broken arm and the other guy seemed confusing. That is, the time jumping made it confusing.
