iOS Tivo App not working

    Just did online chat w/ TiVo. Once again, they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. No time indicated but did say soon. At least they were honest. I am able to use the website to schedule, so that is helpful, just not as convenient.

    I just noticed the problem when trying to schedule from the TiVo Android app...

    scheduler error:error response from it: code: 1002, text: internal exception

    So it's not just the iOS app. The Android app has the issue. The issue is almost definitely on their backend system.

    TiVo HD here.

    If not for the ability to easily transfer recorded programs to my computer, I would ditch this thing and go with the Verizon FiOS DVR.

    It has been going on for a while with my S3. I just used the box or web site to work around it, but it is quite annoying.

    Can't schedule recordings.

    Just when I start getting to the point where I think it may be time to part w/ the Tivo HD and upgrade...TiVo pulls this junk to try and 'force' it.

    Guess I'll be keeping the one I have until it dies. No complaints on that front since it still works fine.

    Got tired of getting this error so reported it to Tivo. Got this response:

    Is that funny, or what? This has been going on for a long time. Good thing the brain trust is working night and day on the problem.

    To be fair, the HD is rather old. My original HD was ordered some 5 years ago, and according to Amazon, it was first released on April 18, 2005 (though Wikipedia says 2006 ;)). Either way, it's had a good, long life. Time to move on to other devices ;)

    Thanks! I just successfully scheduled a recording on my HD using a 5s running iOS 7. No error message.

    Tivo app isn't working for me either. It asks me to log in, doesn't accept my password. Tried entering the media access key and it doesn't take it. Rebooted all 3 of my Tivos. Closed the app and restarted the phone. I have two XL4s and a regular Premiere.

    Still not working on Android app for me. I select a box, and it says "Connecting to "MY BOX" on the local network. Is it working for other android users?

    I was able to schedule 2 recordings and a Season pass.

    Indeed. I can once again schedule recordings! Tivo HD is back to life!

    Works as expected from my iPhone 5 and iPad 2 both running iOS 7.0.3

    I have ios7 and a TiVo HDXL. The app gives me an error code of 1005 when I try to record shows remotely. :(
    I'm planning to upgrade to Roamio soon. Hopefully they get this fixed!

    I'm now getting the 1005 error too! Arrrgh! C'mon.keep this app working.
