What's on the next few weeks? Any movies premiering?
They should have a puppy bowl or something like that
Any paint drying in your home you could watch?
Firefly - when in doubt always watch Firefly!
GO to Canada!
USA USA USA
They actually did for Beijing called the Puppy Games which they ran against the opening ceremonies. I'm surprised that Animal Planet isn't doing one this year.
I vote "Watch the Olympics anyway!"
Hmmm..there is this thing called TIVO.
My latest new fav is a new original TBS sitcom called 'Sullivan and Son'. It's just a sitcom, so it's not like the best thing you ever saw on tv, but it is funny as hell. There are quite a few hilarious characters.
Yeah I dislike the whole Olympics thing as well, but we will find several other shows to watch/DVR I'm sure. Stuff on Food Network, SyFy, HGTV etc etc. Plus Big Brother is on now so there's that.
The Olympics. The original "Reality TV".
I hate them, too, so I won't be watching even 1 minute of them. But I have lots of other things to fill my time, so I likely won't even notice.
I hate the Olympics too! Solidarity!
I don't really hate them. I just don't care about them (never have).
I think there are marathons of Mythbusters and Deadliest Catch airing sometime in the next couple of days. I noticed because there weren't episode descriptions and my Tivo was going to record dozens of episodes.
I don't hate the Olympics per se, but can't stand to watch them due to the commentators that NEVER SHUT UP!
"Chariots of Fire" is on HBO this month.
Storage Wars on A&E. YUUUUP! That's a $30 bill all day long.
I signed up for the free month of netflix and just finished watching the first two seasons of Warehouse 13. Now I'm starting season 1 of The Glades.
I see what you did there.
Pretty much reflects my feelings about them.
For some years when the Olympics were on, I watched 0 minutes of it.
I did watch China's opening ceremony, which was amazing. Closing ceremony was not bad as well but the segue to London sucked. I even spoke to some Brits not long afterward and they agreed that portion sucked.
Not sure if I'll bother watching London's opening ceremony since many have said it sucked.
If Bob Costas is around, the other commentators dont get much chance to talk anyway.
