Help needed with adding apps to preview box

    Hi TiVo forum...I'm new here,just upgraded recently up TiVo with grande...I'm using one of the preview boxes and was looking at the add apps in TiVo central.I also upgraded to the forty megabyte speed wireless Internet and have the router next to my box with ethernet cable wired up...will I still need the ip address?? I used the ip address off my ps3 since my desktop is down...but I get the error "no service no ping"anyone know if I'm missing something or why I can't connect?? Also,what apps are available as of now?? Thanx zmb187

    You are not missing anything. We have to use an IP address to add new apps to TiVo but I think now the service is not available. Usually when we want to add apps to TiVo we visit apps.tv. But now the website is shut down. If you visit the site using a desktop you will notice the message the site is shut down and is being auctioned off at Godaddy.com.
