Anyone watch? How the heck does this stuff make it on the air? The cast is pretty decent but the writing is just terrible. It also has a very similar premise to "Baby Daddy" on ABC Family. I predict another failure for NBC.

I watched and wanted to turn it off but I think I kept watching just to see what Tempest and the Sopranos chick were going to do.

This appears to be produced or created by Jimmy Fallon.
It has a Friends-like sitcom feel just not very funny and the characters are - so what who cares...

I thought it was ok. I just thought they tried WAY too hard, so it felt over the top. I'll give it one more week.

I'll watch as long as it's on the air. Maybe it'll get better. But I wouldn't be surprised if it got cancelled within 3 weeks.

Yep, it was pretty bad. I don't see it improving much. But it might.

I tried to watch the whole thing, just to give it a chance. I could not do it. It was really bad.

With Animal Practice and this I have a feeling NBC will have 1 hour to fill on Wednesdays very soon.

I would agree with those being the first two on NBC to fail.

I just watched it and it's pretty awful. I'm sure this question has been asked many times in other thread but I missed it. USA is part of NBC I believe. Why aren't the USA shows on NBC's primetime lineup? I find it hard to believe Guys with Kids gets a primetime slot while Suits, for example, is relegated to cable.

I'm just now watching the pilot. I think it's a 'no-go' for me too. I'm not a kid person anyway, but it doesn't even hold my interest at all and I haven't laughed once.

I'm not a prude (not even close) but the opening sequence with 3 (or was it 4?) guys sitting in a bar with babies attached to them - really? Who brings babies to a bar? Anyway, of course I don't expect any level of realism from a sitcom but I think the big issue for me is that it's way more dumb than funny.

I only initially recorded the ep because there were a couple of actors that I like - Jamie Lynn Sigler and the one Huxtable daughter. Plus, I really like Jimmy Fallon. So cute and talented, but this is a miss for sure.

I'm out without even watching the whole episode. Maybe if I were a kid person it would be entertaining, though, in kind of an 'oh yeah, that resonates' way.

I also recorded it for Tempest Bledsoe and Jamie Lynn Sigler. Both actresses can do much better than this. Both of them were stars of HUGE shows. How the heck did they end up on this?

One and done for me. That was really, really bad, Unbelievably, undeniably, horribly, terribly, horrifically, and a bunch of other "bad"+ly adverbs bad.

There are a lot of bars in the areas of New York City with a lot of families where you're bound to spot babies and toddlers hanging out while Mom and/or Dad drink. Every time a bar tries to ban kids, the parents are up in arms and it gets in the news.
