Anybody still watching? I have to admit I still love this show.

Loved this past week's show where they were drilling on the wrong claim.

"I thought we were done looking like idiots but I guess we still have a ways to go"

Still watching, but haven't seen the most recent episode yet.

There's just a part of me that wants to see these guys actually reach their goal.

It's still my wife's favorite show. I wouldn't mind seeing them succeed except that would just encourage them.

Love it. Looks like they at least have the tools to get it this time.

    Herndon,...
Not thread-crapping, but since it was asked if anyone was still watching... my answer is "no, I gave up". Just too much repetition and staging for my taste. At first it was new, but now... not so much.

Fair enough. I've heard people say the same about Deadliest Catch but I still love that show too.

It will only be a matter of time before Fred needs something from Parker, I hope Parker never forgets that Fred would not loan him the electrical panel.

Love the scenes with Parker and his grandfather.

I couldn't figure out if Fred actually owned that panel. It didn't sound like he did because he mentioned somebody else. That was bad form though.

I'm surprised that Parker has the pottiest mouth of the bunch. If I recall his mother was not happy with his choice of vocabulary last year, and it's worse this year. Not impressive. If I were his father I'd be worried about the slippery slope this kid is on to be a lifelong dreamer chasing holes in the ground and waving shotguns when the State Troopers set foot on his property. I used to pull for Parker as the motivated kid in over his head, now I think we're seeing a slow motion train wreck that won't end well 10 years from now.

I guess now we know why they changed the name of the show From Gold Rush Alaska to simply Gold Rush. The Hoffmans are mining in Canada.

For all the hard work that young kid/boy does....who cares if he let's a fbomb fly? There are way worse things.

It's indicative of him not respecting his mother's counsel. Yes, there are way worse things (the master rationalization for any type of behavior)

A teenager not listening to his mother? I'm shocked! ;)

Wow. Horrendously bad finale. Christo is no Probst, and the bait and switch of "who hit the motherlode" is bad TV. On the Discovery website, the forums there are 99% sure that Todd was coked up last night.

Caught just a few minutes of that finale. I agree, something was up with Todd.

This show was only watchable thanks to TiVo. 50% of the show replays prior material.

Is it just me or does anyone else think they should ditch Todd and go with Dave Turin? Todd just seems to chase rainbows, where Dave actually does the work. Loved Parker trying to hire Todd's crew. :)

I'm not looking forward to them mining in S America.

Is Christo just short for "Christopher"? He does come off like a pretentious d-bag, so I wouldn't be surprised.

The whole "mother lode" thing all season was a crock too.

The morphine has started to go to Jack Hoffman's head. His "prayers" are nothing more than favor requests and money grabs.

I wish Tony Beets would have just come out and slammed everyone into tables WWE style...

Todd definitely had a twitch last night. Also they shouldn't do the live thing again, expecialy Christo seemed very stiff and not ready for live TV.

What was the Hoffman's total? My recording cut off right after they announced Parker's.
