This was the best episode of the three so far. It was funny throughout.

We saw things that real women deal with and do in real life but that you never see on TV (or even rarely in movies). They have HPV, they masturbate, they eat in the bathroom, they have terrible sex, etc.

Hannah's bf gets even more despicable with his lie about being tested and Marnie's bf gets even more cloying and sickenly sweet with his ovaraian cancer solidarity.

The ending had me smiling! :p :)

Looks like Marnie is going to explore her wild side and thats okay with me. :)

Hannah annoyed me with her incessant know-it-all talking in the first two EPs. Maybe I'm getting used to it but I'm getting more from her dialogue now. Oh and her biggest baggage isn't HPV, it's Adam.

    "I have pre-cancer!"

Loved it, again. Her ex's takedown of her at the bar was fantastic. And now I want to watch "Baggage."

Oh gawd, that was painful and I was laughing the whole time. He called her handsome when what he was really saying was he was able to imagine her as a man. He told her her dad is gay and she had to consider it might be true!

    "Is this about the scarf?"

This show is definitely getting better each week. I'm glad we weeded out all the haters :)

I laughed at the artist guy: "because I'm a man and I know how to do things." Seriously? That guy doesn't seem like he can tie his own shoes. Only next to someone like Charlie could that not be completely ridiculous.

Best scene of the series so far was Hannah and her gay ex. The plotline is cliche but the dialog was anything but.

That's one reason I made a thread just for this episode. Surely if you hate the show you won't watch three whole episodes and come here to thread crap. ;)

No matter what you think of the series, and I am liking it, it's still pretty amazing that Lena Dunham is writing, directing and starring in it at 25.

Just watched the first 3 episodes. I think it was this episode but the balls it took for her to have that guy grab and jiggle her tummy roll was outstanding.

This show is great with back to back to episode watching, should finish it tonight.

Years ago I saw an interview with Meryl Streep. She said the key to her acting is vanity and not having any, that when you act you have to not have a shred of vanity. Lena Dunham has proved that on this show.

Yeah, I finished the season, but there were no threads for the last few eps :(

    I really enjoyed it.

Dunham is a strange looking person, in many ways she looks, walks, acts like a child, though she obviously isn't. The actress that plays Marnie looks exactly like someone, is it Keira Knightley or perhaps Natalie Portman ?

She looks exactly like her dad, Brian Williams. Maybe that is why she looks familiar to you. ;)

Well if you think she looks like him then good luck to you (and I did know).

To me she looks like Ashley Williams:

To me, she looks like an actress...which really makes her stand out on this show.

    (Which seems to be deliberate...)

I really like this show. A grittier, more real Sex in the City. Only problem is it is near X-Rated so I need to be real careful who is around when watching it. My wife, a major Sex in the City fan hates it and thinks it's porn. I must admit, it is not enjoyable watching long freaky sex scenes involving Lena.

She may be pear shaped but she definitely is an artistic prodigy though.

We walked past Zosia Mamet a few weeks ago in SoHo. I'm like that was Shoshanna, and my wife was "who?"

She reminded me of Lana Del Ray with small lips.
